As part of our ongoing commitment through the Refrigerant Stewardship Program, we wish to
inform you of important updates regarding the availability of certain refrigerants.
Some refrigerants have now reached end-of-life status and are no longer available throughout the
branch network.
These are specifically: R507, R407F, R438A and R422D.
Relative to the ongoing phasedown, high-GWP refrigerants such as R404A / R410A / R134a / R407C /
R452 may become increasingly difficult to source throughout the year and especially in high demand
periods.
Orders for larger quantities will be subject to availability and may take time for order fulfillment
from our main distribution centers.
We strongly urge contractors and end users to plan for the transition to lower-GWP alternatives
wherever possible.
To support this, it is critical that:
• No new systems are designed using R404A, R507, R134a or R452
• All new systems are specified with lower-GWP refrigerants in line with current
environmental and regulatory expectations
• Avoid the use of distributed R410A systems where possible, and instead give preference,
where practical, to new systems with lower GWP alternatives, such as R32, R454B, or
R452B.
